Website for chiropractors: price, pages and example

A website for chiropractors has to meet the patient who’s in pain: what you treat, that no referral is needed, what it costs, and an easy way to book. Here are the pages, the price, the rules and an example front page.

What should a website for chiropractors do?

It should answer what patients search for when it hurts. Many look for help with a specific problem, such as low back pain or headaches, and want to know whether you can help and how soon they can be seen.

  • A booking button at the top that goes to your booking system.
  • What you treat, in the patient’s words: back pain, neck pain, headaches and sciatica.
  • Prices for the first consultation and follow-up treatments, and what the public health insurance subsidy takes off.
  • That no referral from a GP is needed.
  • How soon new patients can be seen, if you have emergency slots.

Which pages does the website need?

Start with 6 pages. That’s enough for a customer to find the answer and get in touch, and you can always add more:

  1. Home: what the clinic helps with, where it is, and the booking button.
  2. Treatments: one page per problem patients search for, such as lower back, neck and headaches.
  3. First visit: what happens, how long it takes, and what to bring.
  4. Prices and subsidy: consultations, treatments and what the subsidy covers.
  5. About the clinic: the chiropractors, training and memberships.
  6. Contact: phone, address, opening hours and parking.

How much does a website for chiropractors cost?

A website for chiropractors typically costs DKK 16,000–43,000 to have made by a freelancer and DKK 47,000–121,000 by a web agency, excluding VAT. Running costs come on top every year. Over three years, that adds up to DKK 33,000–101,000 with a freelancer and DKK 78,000–235,000 with an agency. Build it yourself in Striive and there’s no build fee: three years cost DKK 9,000–19,500.

All amounts exclude VAT and come from our website cost calculator, built on Danish hourly rates: about DKK 500–900 an hour for freelancers and DKK 900–1,400 for agencies. Running costs are hosting, a domain, licences and a service agreement. Striive is DKK 99 a month incl. VAT for the first 4 months, then DKK 249 a month incl. VAT, plus your domain. Online booking and online payments aren’t in Striive yet, so Striive’s figures include a separate booking or shop tool until they arrive.

Many new patients search for their symptom, not for “chiropractor”: low back pain, sciatica, tension headaches. A page per problem is what gets found, and with a freelancer the copy costs DKK 1,000–2,500 per page on top of the page itself. Better to write them yourself with AI to help; you know your patients’ questions better than a copywriter does.

What do customers search for when they need a chiropractor?

Customers type what they need and where they live. Typical searches (in Danish, as they’re typed):

  • kiropraktor [town]
  • kiropraktor [town] akut
  • kiropraktor ondt i lænden
  • kiropraktor hovedpine nakke
  • kiropraktor pris tilskud
  • kiropraktor [town] lørdag

Use the same words on your pages: the trade, the services and the towns and areas you cover. Give each page a title and a description that say it, and check how it looks in Google with our Google preview. More in how to get found on Google.

What makes customers choose you?

Trust. The customer doesn’t know you yet, so the website has to show you’re good at what you do:

  • The chiropractors’ full names, so patients can look up the authorisation with the Danish Patient Safety Authority.
  • Membership of the Danish Chiropractors’ Association (Dansk Kiropraktor Forening), if you’re a member.
  • A calm explanation of what happens at the first visit, with no promises of a cure.
  • Clear prices, also for those who get no subsidy.
  • Photos of the clinic and the practitioners, not stock photos of backs.

What rules apply to a website for chiropractors?

The same as for every business, and a few for your trade. Every business must show its name, address, email and CVR number on its website (Danish E-commerce Act §7), have a privacy notice when it collects personal data through, say, a contact form, and get consent with a cookie banner before setting cookies for analytics or marketing. Prices for consumers must include VAT. The full list is in website requirements for businesses.

  • Chiropractors are authorised health professionals, so your marketing falls under the Danish executive order on marketing of health services. It must be factual and not misleading, and the Danish Patient Safety Authority (Styrelsen for Patientsikkerhed) supervises it. Check the rules there.
  • Don’t promise results, and be careful with patient testimonials. Say what you examine and treat instead.
  • Don’t ask about pain or illness in the contact form. Let patients tell you at the first consultation or through your secure channel.

What could the front page look like?

Here’s how the top of the front page could read. The headline says what you do and where; the text under it says why to pick you and what to do next:

“Chiropractor in Viborg. Help with back, neck and headaches.”

You don’t need a referral. The first consultation takes 45 minutes, and we always tell you what we find and what we suggest. Book online, or call 12 34 56 78.

How do you make a website for chiropractors with Striive?

You build it yourself, with AI to help. Plan on 10–21 hours for a site like this:

  1. Tell Striive about your business: what you do, where, and how customers reach you. Have an old website? Type its address, and Striive builds from it.
  2. The AI website builder builds your front page and up to four more pages, with text about what you actually do.
  3. Edit texts, prices and photos right on the page in the visual editor, or tell the AI assistant what to change.
  4. Add a contact form, and link to the booking system you use today. Online booking right in Striive is on the way.
  5. Connect your own domain, check the site on your phone, and publish.

Which mistakes should you avoid?

These turn up again and again on websites for chiropractors:

  • Promises that the treatment helps with everything. That’s misleading and can break the marketing rules.
  • No page about the first visit. That’s exactly what a nervous new patient wants to know.
  • Prices shown without saying whether the subsidy has been taken off.
  • Booking sits in a menu you have to hunt for.
  • Jargon without explanation. Patients search for “low back pain”, not for your terms.

Frequently asked questions

Be careful. Marketing of health services must not mislead, and testimonials easily end up promising a result. Check the current rules with the Danish Patient Safety Authority before you use them, and always get the patient’s consent.

Yes, when the button goes to the booking system the clinic already uses. Online booking right in Striive is on the way. More in website with booking.

Yourself in Striive: about 10–21 hours, spread over a couple of days, if your texts and photos are ready. With a freelancer or an agency, plan on 2–6 weeks, because design, texts and corrections go back and forth.

Yes. In Striive you edit texts, prices and photos right on the page, or tell the AI assistant what to change. You don’t pay a web designer for every change.
