Multiple users on your website. Edit together, at the same time.
Invite colleagues, your partner or your web designer by email. Everyone gets their own login and a role, and you can all edit the website at once, without overwriting each other. Unlimited team members are included.
Why should every user have their own login?
With a login each, you can see exactly who has access to the website. When an employee leaves or the web designer is done, you remove that one person. Nobody else has to change their password. And an activity log shows who did what, and when.
How to invite a colleague
Only admins can invite and remove users.
- Go to the users in your site’s settings, and choose to invite someone.
- Type their email address and choose a role: admin or client.
- They get an email with a personal link. It works once and is valid for 72 hours.
- They choose their own password and land in your website. Until they accept, they show as invited.
Admin or client: what’s the difference?
A website in Striive has two roles. Pick the one that matches what the person should be able to do.
- Admin: can do everything: build and delete pages, change the design, publish, manage settings and invite or remove users.
- Client: can edit text, links and images on the pages that exist, using images already in the media library. A client can’t change the layout or design, touch the settings or publish. An admin does that.
Edit at the same time, live
Everyone who has the editor open works on the same live version. You see who else is there, and changes appear for everyone as they’re made. Two people can even type in the same paragraph without losing each other’s words.
There is no save button. Striive saves as you go. And undo only undoes your own changes, never a colleague’s.
Two-factor login protects every account
Each user can turn on two-factor login. You scan a QR code with an authenticator app, and from then on you log in with your password plus a six-digit code. You also get ten one-time backup codes in case you lose your phone.
After five wrong attempts, the account is locked for a while, and each user can see where they’re logged in and sign out other devices.
What it doesn’t do
There are two roles, not custom ones, and you can’t limit a person to certain pages. Two-factor login is something each person turns on for their own account. You can’t force it for everyone. The last admin on a website can’t be removed, so a site is never left without someone in charge.

No. Unlimited team members are included. Inviting colleagues is part of the plan. See the pricing page for what’s included.
Admins manage the whole site: pages, design, settings, publishing and who has access. Clients edit text, links and images on existing pages, but can’t change the design or publish, which is handy when your designer builds for a customer.
Yes. Invite them by email as an admin, let them build, and keep your own login. When the work is done, remove their access.
Nothing gets overwritten. Changes merge as they’re made, and you can see each other’s edits live, even in the same text.
An admin removes them from the website’s users. Their access stops at once, and nobody else needs a new password.
Yes. One login can belong to several Striive websites, each with its own role, and you switch between them from the account menu.
