A fast website. Ready before they give up.
A fast website opens in a moment, even on a phone with a weak signal. Striive publishes every page as finished, plain HTML and CSS with no framework JavaScript, so there’s less to download and less to wait for.
Slow on a phone. And Google notices.
Many website builders send a large bundle of JavaScript with every page, even a page that’s just text and a few photos. On a phone with a weak signal, the page stays blank for seconds. Visitors leave, and Google’s Core Web Vitals report turns red.
Why does website speed matter?
Most people find a local business on their phone, often on the move. If the page is slow to appear, they go back to the search results and pick the next one.
Google also measures how a page feels to use: how quickly the main content shows and whether it jumps around while loading. These measurements are called Core Web Vitals, and they’re one of the things Google looks at.
How Striive makes your website fast
The speed work happens when you publish, not while your visitor waits:
- When you press Publish, Striive turns each page into a finished HTML file with tidy CSS.
- The files are stored ready to serve, so the server sends them straight away. It doesn’t rebuild the page for every visit.
- CSS is gathered in a few files with unique names, so the browser can keep them and reuse them from page to page.
- Images from the media library are published in several sizes, so a phone doesn’t download the large original.
- Fonts are served from the same place as your site, not from an outside service.
- The whole new version is switched in at once.
No JavaScript you don’t need
The editor doesn’t come along to the live site, and no app framework runs in your visitor’s browser. A page with text and images typically ships no scripts at all. Only blocks that need one, like a contact form, bring a small script with them.
The whole site switches at once
A new version of your site is built in full before it goes live, then switched in one step. Visitors never see half a change, an old page linking to a new one, or a broken layout mid-update.
Technical SEO, handled
Striive writes the technical parts every time you publish. You never edit a file:
- A title and meta description for every page and post.
- A canonical address pointing at your primary domain.
- A sitemap and robots.txt that always match what’s published.
- A title and description for sharing on social media (Open Graph).
- Structured data about your business (LocalBusiness) once your company name and CVR number are registered.
What we can’t promise
We can’t promise a particular PageSpeed score. Large images, videos and content from other services that you add yourself affect speed. Social share images aren’t in yet. They’re part of the SEO tools on our roadmap.
Frequently asked questions
Use Google’s free PageSpeed Insights. Enter your address, and you get a score for mobile and desktop plus your Core Web Vitals. Always check mobile, since that’s what most visitors use.
The browser has to download, read and run it before the page is ready. The more there is, the longer a phone waits. Pages without framework JavaScript skip most of that work.
We can’t promise a score. Large images and third-party embeds you add affect it. But Striive’s pages start light, and that’s the part most builders get wrong.
Yes. The sitemap and robots.txt always match what you’ve published.
Partly. Share titles and descriptions are added automatically, and LocalBusiness structured data is added once your company name and CVR number are registered. Social share images are on our roadmap.
