Website analytics without cookies. Coming to Striive.
Cookieless analytics counts your visits and most-read pages without storing anything on your visitors’ devices. It isn’t in Striive yet. It’s on our roadmap. Today you can add an analytics tool of your choice, and the cookie banner handles consent.
Not in Striive yet, but it’s on our roadmap. Here’s what you can do today. Roadmap
Google Analytics is too much. And it needs consent.
You want to know how many people found your site this month, and which pages they read. Google Analytics gives you a hundred reports you never open, sets cookies that need consent, and loses everyone who clicks “reject”.
Do you need consent for website analytics?
Analytics cookies aren’t strictly necessary for your site to work, so as a rule you need the visitor’s consent before setting them. That’s why Google Analytics needs a cookie banner, and why visitors who say no disappear from your numbers.
Analytics that sets no cookies and tracks no one across sites can be a different matter. Our free cookie banner checker explains the question in more detail.
What’s planned in Striive
Visitor statistics will be built into Striive, in your admin right next to your site:
- Striive will count visits itself: first-party, without cookies and without third parties.
- You’ll see how many people visit and which pages they read.
- Because it’s designed to work without cookies or tracking across sites, it’s designed not to need a cookie banner.
- Later: data from Google Search Console: which searches show your site, and how often people click.
What you can do today
There are no statistics inside Striive yet, but you can measure your site now:
- Choose an analytics tool: Google Analytics or a cookieless alternative.
- Add its script to your site in Striive.
- If the tool uses cookies, Striive’s built-in cookie banner keeps it blocked until the visitor says yes to statistics, so it only runs for people who agreed.
- Add your site to Google Search Console, free of charge, to see which searches you appear in. It works with your Striive site on your own domain.

Not yet. They’re planned. Today you can add your own analytics script, which the cookie banner blocks until consent.
For analytics that use cookies, such as Google Analytics, you generally need consent. Statistics that set no cookies and track no one across sites can be different. Our cookie banner checker explains the question.
There are several cookieless analytics tools that show visits and top pages without profiling visitors. Striive plans its own, built in. Until then you can add the tool of your choice.
For most small businesses that want to know their visits and most-read pages, that’s the aim.
Use Google Search Console. It’s free and shows which searches your site appears in and how often people click. Bringing that data into Striive is planned.
