SEO for your website. The basics done for you.

SEO means being found when local customers search for what you do. Striive already handles the technical basics on every page. A full SEO workspace with share images, redirects and an AI check isn’t in Striive yet; it’s on our roadmap.

Not in Striive yet, but it’s on our roadmap. Here’s what you can do today. Roadmap

You should “do SEO”. But what does that mean?

Meta tags, schema markup, canonical URLs, redirects, Open Graph, and now AI crawlers and llms.txt. Every guide assumes you know half of it already, and most site builders scatter the settings across a dozen screens.

What is SEO for a small business?

SEO (search engine optimisation) is the work of making your website show up when people search. For a small business it’s mostly local: “hairdresser in Aarhus”, “plumber near me”, “bakery open Sunday”. It comes down to three things:

  • Technical: the site loads fast, works on mobile and is easy for search engines to read.
  • Content: each page answers what your customers search for, in their words, with a clear title and description.
  • Local: your Google Business Profile is complete, and your name, address and phone number are the same everywhere.

What Striive does for you today

The technical part is handled automatically, so you can spend your time on the content:

  • A title and meta description on every page. Blog posts can have their own SEO title and description.
  • A canonical address on every page, so search engines know which address is the right one.
  • A sitemap and robots.txt that always list the pages you’ve published.
  • Open Graph tags with the page’s title and description, so links show the right text when shared on social media.
  • LocalBusiness structured data (your company name, CVR number, address and contact details), plus the legally required company details in the footer, once your company name and CVR number are filled in.
  • An automatic redirect when you change the address of a published blog post, so old links still work.
  • Your Striive address sends visitors on to your own domain, so search engines see one version of your site.
  • Fast pages: plain HTML and CSS, which search engines reward.

How to get started with SEO in Striive

Five steps that make the biggest difference for a local business:

  1. Write a title and description for each page that say what you do and where, in the words your customers would search for.
  2. Write text that answers your customers’ questions: prices, opening hours, the area you cover.
  3. Connect your own domain.
  4. Add your site to Google Search Console and submit your sitemap.
  5. Create or claim your Google Business Profile, and link it to your website.

What’s planned: SEO and AI search in one place

The SEO tools will gather everything in one place, on each page and across the site:

  • Share images, so your links show a picture on social media.
  • Structured data you can adjust yourself, such as your type of business and opening hours.
  • Sitemap options, and redirects you set up yourself when a page moves.
  • A choice of which AI crawlers may read your site, and an llms.txt file that describes your site to AI tools.
  • An AI check that goes through your site, explains each issue in plain words (a missing description, two pages with the same title) and offers to fix it.

What no tool can promise

Nobody can guarantee a top spot on Google, including us. Good SEO takes time: weeks or months before a new site finds its place. What helps most is still useful content about what you do, where you do it.

Frequently asked questions

No. They’re planned as part of the Striive plan, DKK 311.25 a month including VAT (DKK 249 excluding VAT), with no SEO add-on. The parts that use AI, like written meta descriptions, draw on the plan’s AI allowance like any other AI use.

SEO (search engine optimisation) is the work of getting your website to show up when people search on Google and other search engines, through fast pages, clear content and correct technical details.

Yes. With Striive handling the technical basics, most of the work is writing good titles, descriptions and text about what you do and where.

Yes. Every page has a title and meta description, and Striive adds canonical addresses, a sitemap and robots.txt for you.

Yes to structured data: Striive adds LocalBusiness data with your name, CVR number, address and contact details once your company name and CVR number are filled in, and Open Graph tags on every page. Share images and opening hours in the structured data are planned. Until then, our free share preview and LocalBusiness tools can help.

When you change the address of a published blog post, Striive redirects the old address automatically. Redirects you set up yourself are part of the planned SEO tools.

A plain text file that describes your site to AI tools, a bit like robots.txt does for search crawlers. Striive plans to generate it for you.
