Change your website design in one click. On its way.

A design style gives your whole website a new look (fonts, colours and spacing) without touching your content. Design styles aren’t in Striive yet; they’re on our roadmap. Today, a few central choices already style the whole site.

Not in Striive yet, but it’s on our roadmap. Here’s what you can do today. Roadmap

You’re not a designer. And it shows.

Writing about your business is one thing. Picking fonts, colours and spacing that work together is another. The result is often pages that each look a little different, or a redesign that means starting over.

What is a design style?

A design style is a complete set of type, colour and spacing, made to fit together. It decides how headings, text, buttons and backgrounds look, but not what they say or where they sit.

That’s the difference from a template. A template usually brings its own pages and placeholder text, so switching means moving your content across. A design style only changes the look, so your text, images and page structure stay where they are.

How design styles will work in Striive

The plan is three or four design styles, each made to fit together. Don’t like the result? Pick another.

  1. Open your site’s design settings.
  2. Choose one of the design styles.
  3. The style applies across your whole site at once: every page, header and footer.
  4. Keep it, or pick another. Your content isn’t touched either way.

What you can do today

Striive already styles your site from a few central choices, and the whole site follows when you change one. Design styles take the same idea further.

  • Brand colour: set one colour, and Striive works out lighter and darker shades for buttons, backgrounds and borders.
  • Fonts: choose your typefaces once and use them everywhere. Change a font, and every place that uses it follows.
  • Text sizes and spacing follow a scale that adapts smoothly to every screen, from phone to desktop.
  • Shared layouts keep your header and footer identical on every page.
  • Reusable sections: build a block once and reuse it. Change it in one place, and it updates everywhere.

One consistent design across every page

A site looks professional when it’s consistent: the same fonts, the same colours, the same spacing on every page. Because Striive styles the site centrally, you don’t have to remember what you picked last time. One design, not a patchwork.

What design styles won’t do

A design style changes the look only. It won’t rewrite your text, move your sections or add pages. And it isn’t a custom design made for your brand. It’s a well-made starting point you can adjust with your own colour and fonts.

Frequently asked questions

Not yet. Design styles are planned. Today you can change your brand colour, fonts and type scale, and the whole site follows.

No. The plan is that a design style changes only the look. Your text, images and pages stay.

There’s no template gallery. You build from sections, and design styles are planned to handle the look.

The plan is three or four, each a complete set of type, colour and spacing that fits together.

Make sure there’s enough contrast between text and background. Our free contrast checker tells you whether a pair of colours meets the accessibility guidelines.
